Event Details

Boilerhouse is a five-piece, acapella singing group who bring their varied programme from wide influences, including folk, working songs, sacred harp, music hall and original arrangements of poems from Cornwall.

Anna Maria Murphy is a writer for BBC Radio 4 & Kneehigh Theatre & is currently collaborating with musicians Bagas Degol.

Pauline Sheppard writes for theatre, screen, animation, magazines and radio. In 2021 her first book Through The Granite Mirror won the prestigious Gorsedh Kernow Holyer an Gof Award for outstanding literature.

Anna and Pauline create magical tales that combine humour with insight, drawn from their long experience of writing stories, poetry and plays.

This promises to be a magical evening in the park.

There is the opportunity to order home-made vegetable pre-show curry, served with naan bread and yoghurt or jacket potato with butter and grated cheese when you book your show tickets. Our home-made vegetable curry is both dairy and gluten free.

In addition, there is a licensed bar plus a full range of both hot and soft drinks and snacks.

Please note: hot food may not be available at all matinee performances.

Seating is provided.

Dogs on a lead and under your control are welcome in the venue. Please bring a poo bag and ask at the box office if an event contains any sudden or loud sound effects.
